The enterPRIZE job creation challenge is an initiative of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the Department for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs (Detea) in partnership with the Small Enterprise Development Agency (Seda). The focus of the competition is on SMEs operating within the target sectors of the Free State SME Development Initiative.
The aim of the enterPRIZE job creation challenge is to enhance the growth of emerging, new and established entrepreneurs that are in the process of setting up a business or have a business they want to expand to with a view to seizing unexploited or underexploited market opportunities.
The enterPRIZE job creation challenge is designed to create opportunities for business owners who find it difficult to secure conventional commercial funding for start-up or expansion of their ventures.
The key criterion for entering the enterPRIZE job creation challenge is employment creation!
